Log into YOUR CLASS WIKI.. by going to: [[|http://katringale.wikispaces.com/]]
(GO TO YOUR CLASS SECTION LOCATED IN THE LEFT HAND COLUMN)
  • Create an account with Wiki. Make a username & password that you will remember.
  • Request to "join" the Wiki. (you do not need to make a wiki...however you can certainly do that on your own time)
  • Go to your class page and following the directions to create your own page.
  • Research a person that has done something notable in science.
  • Each student must select a person of interest that is different…no duplication.
  • Get approval for the person you are researching.
  • Design your wiki page in a way that informs the reader what the individual primary interests were, a time frame in history, some interesting facts, image(s)
  • Look at the layout of websites, newspapers, and/or magazines.
  • Format is essential when communicating information.
  • You may link to a website, but that is for support of your page.
  • Break out the information in your own words.
  • Include a brief introductory paragraph that highlights your topic.
