Edwin Hubble
Edwin Hubble was interested in space when he was 8 years old, receiving his first telescope. In college, he was forced by his father to study law. During his free time, Edwin studied astronomy. In 1915 he received time to work on one of the Yerkes Observatory, and began his favorite career. Using his telescope, he found that the universe is vast and the Milky Way is only a small part of it. Edwin also found that the universe is continuously expanding. The telescope was named after Edwin Hubble in his honor.

Early Life:
Edwin Hubble was born in the small town of Marshfield, Missouri on November 29,1889. He was always fascinated in science and the world beyond earth. He was very athletic in boxing and track.
